Community Notes and Data Sharing Consent

This Community Notes and Data Sharing Consent (“Consent Agreement”) outlines the terms under which you permit VESPER (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to share your user-generated content and use your anonymized data. By opting in, you agree to these terms. For details on data handling, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

1. Community Notes

  • Purpose: You may choose to share deal/tip notes you submit in the App as community notes, which will be visible to other users to enhance trip planning and budget tracking.
  • Consent: You must provide explicit consent via the App’s settings by marking a deal/tip note as a community note.
  • Sharing Options: You can use the built-in share functions of iOS and Android to share specific deal/tip notes or Vegas source references.
  • License: By consenting, you grant Quantum Tunneling Ltd (QT LTD) a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within VESPER.
  • Content Restrictions: You agree not to submit notes that are unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringe on third-party rights, contain sensitive personal information without consent, or provide unqualified financial advice.

2. Trip Agendas

  • Purpose: You may share trip agendas, which include agenda items, shopping list items, and wish list items, with explicit consent. These will be visible to other users.
  • Consent: You must provide explicit consent via the App’s settings to share trip agendas.
  • License: By consenting, you grant Quantum Tunneling Ltd (QT LTD) a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within VESPER.

3. Spending Transactions and Attachments

  • Purpose: You may create spending transactions and attach photos of receipts or menus, which can be shared with explicit consent via deal/tip notes marked as community, consistent with Section 1.
  • Consent: You must provide explicit consent via the App’s settings by marking the resulting deal/tip note as a community note.
  • License: By consenting, you grant Quantum Tunneling Ltd (QT LTD) a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within VESPER.

4. Automated Trip Reports

  • Purpose: You may generate and download automated trip reports as PDFs, which you can then share with explicit consent via deal/tip notes marked as community, consistent with Section 1.
  • Consent and Sharing: Explicit consent is required to generate and share reports. You may use the built-in share functions of iOS and Android to share these reports.
  • License: By consenting, you grant Quantum Tunneling Ltd (QT LTD) a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content within VESPER.

5. AI Insights and Recommendations

  • Purpose: We may use anonymized user data (e.g., budgets, transactions, notes) to train AI models for generating insights and recommendations, such as budget optimization or trip suggestions. We may provide you with personal AI insights, using only your personal data and community notes you have marked as favorites.
  • Consent: By using the App, you consent to the use of your anonymized data for AI purposes, unless you opt out via the App’s settings.
  • Anonymization: We will remove personally identifiable information before using data for AI training, ensuring compliance with privacy laws, including PIPEDA.

6. Moderation of Shared Content

Quantum Tunneling Ltd (QT LTD) will review and moderate shared data and reserves the right to delete or edit any information found to be inaccurate, providing unqualified financial advice, or contradicting any agreed policies and agreements, including our Community Guidelines, which you have agreed to by registering to use the App.

7. User Control

  • Opt-Out: You may opt out of AI data use at any time via the App’s settings.
  • Data Deletion: You may request deletion of your private data, not shared community data, by contacting us at info@qtmobapps.com. We will comply within 30 days, subject to legal obligations.
  • Appeals: If we moderate or remove your content, you may appeal the decision via the App’s settings or by contacting us.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including anonymization before sharing or AI processing. However, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to review shared content carefully and use strong account security practices.
